Warren Buffett, known to be one of the best investors in the world, has never supported the Bitcoin movement. After a long time without hearing his opinion related to the crypto world, during Berkshire Hathaway's annual shareholder meeting we could witness a curious mise-en-scène.
The famous investor claimed that Bitcoin was an asset that does not produce anything and therefore its only use is to sell it to someone who wants to buy it for a higher price than you bought it.
Buffett's opinion on Bitcoin seems to be a consequence of scepticism towards the new generations and the new investment models that this entails; we could say that it is a case of: "Better the bad you know than the good you don't know".
Buffett is one of the most successful investors and therefore worth listening to, but it is true that his opinion disagrees with that of other recognised experts and emblematic advocates of Bitcoin and with the great importance that the current crypto ecosystem has gained.
